Profi le: The SO.F.TER. Group consists of three divisions (TPE, ETP, SBS) and has grown organically as well as via acquisitions. In addition to its sites in Italy, SO.F.TER. opened plants in Brazil and Mexico in 2005 and 2006. It is currently constructing its fi rst US plant located in Lebanon, TN. Acquisitions have included Matrixx Europe in 2008 and the P-Group in 2011, which have helped SO.F.TER. become one of the largest independent compounders in Europe.


Product line: SO.F.TER.’s portfolio comprises both engineering thermoplastics and TPE compounds with a strong focus on the automotive, home appliances, building, electrical/electronic, footwear and sport industries. Its range of TPE grades includes TPC, TPV, TPO, TPE-S, and TPU.
