The shot starts with arm extension. Once your arms are fully extended you drop the bottom hand forward to create a push-pull motion ending with the stick horizontally pointing where you want to shoot.
Close shots require less power and more fi nesse with a quick fl ick of the wrist.
Hands should be slightly lower than normal and shoulder-width apart.
The stick should start below your hips and ends with the top of the stick even with your shoulders.
Your feet will ultimately end up facing the goal, but to begin, it’s all relative to the position you’re shooting from.
