One Devonshire Gardens Limoncello Granita


Ingredients:


1 Litre of water 100g sugar


350ml Limoncello (best quality you can find)


Zest and juice of 2 limes Method:


Place the lime juice in a small pan with the cold water. Add the sugar and lime zest, heat until the sugar has dissolved,stirring slowly.


Remove from the stove, stir in limoncello and leave to cool


Pour the mix into a container with a large base and freeze until you see crystallization start at the sides, then remove from freezer, break up crystals with a fork and return to the freezer


Repeat the last step every 20 minutes until there is no liquid left and you have a pile of crystals of varying size


Serve in tall glasses and garnish with Fresh mint and Orange zest.
