10m Upgrade Campaign

Progress Thus Far On 10m Upgrade Project Firing Points Still Available For Purchase

Thanks to the generosity of

our supporters we are halfway to our goal for the Olympic Shoot- ing Center enhancements. As Olympic Shooting Center is set to undergo signifi cant en- hancements later this Summer, the transformation has already begun with target systems or- dered and supporters stepping up to the fi ring line in support of range improvements. In early June, the USA Shoot-

ing Team Foundation launched a campaign to raise the fi nal $70,000 needed to complete project. The campaign asked supporters to “leave their mark” at the Olympic Shooting Center by sponsoring a fi ring point with a $1,000 donation and the op- portunity to personalize a point. We are excited to report we are more than halfway to our goal and would like to recognize the supporters who have already

generously committed to this vital upgrade.

19-person Squad Competed In ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Cyprus

Billed as a major tourist des- tination in the heart of the Medi- terranean, you’ll forgive the USA Shooting Team if they want no part of Cyprus after the Interna- tional Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup.

A 19-person squad com- peted in the shotgun-only World Cup and came away disap-

pointed after no top-10 performances. Trap shooter Janessa Beaman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was the highest U.S. fi nisher in 13th place. The roster featured athletes that fi n- ished ranked fourth thru sixth in the fi nal open standings of the 2013 Spring Selection match and included the fourth and

fi fth-placed juniors from that match as well. Top U.S. fi nishers per event included: Seth Inman (Independence, Mo.), 27th in Men’s Trap; Ian Rupert (Muncy, Pa.), 23rd in Men’s Double Trap; Luis “Taz” Gloria (Tucson, Ariz.), 33rd in Men’s Skeet; Jaiden Grin- nell (Port Angeles, Wash.), 19th in Women’s Skeet.
