Designed to help budding hairdressers and beauty therapists develop their careers, three scholarships are available, which include €2,500 in grants, equipment, cosmetics and make-up, and can be used for ITEC courses at any of the Waverley Academy’s colleges in Dublin, Cork or Kilkenny.
Beauty bloggers will also be recognised for the role they play in promoting the Irish beauty industry with a special award created just for their genre. Log on to the Waverley Academy’s website to find out more information.

Newresidential course launched
Nutritionist and professional skin care formulator Star Khechara will be leading a new five-day residential course in Mijas Costa, on the Costa del Sol, week commencing Monday 16th September.
The course, which will earn you an advanced diploma in Botanical Cosmetics Science, will explain how to formulate high-end cosmetics from scratch, and will utilise only nature’s cosmeceuticals and organic raw materials. Furthermore, the course will be limited to just five participants to facilitate personalised tutoring.
