Adult Angst
The Charcoal Detox Brightening Mask and the Green Tea Phenol Soothing Mask from the Functionality Masks range can both be employed in the treatment of Adult Acne.
The soft paper ‘face shaped’ masks are impregnated with dehydrated product and then packed in serum. This innovative patented system uses beneficial extracts in freeze dried powder form within the cloth. The powder is released onto the skin once the mask is applied to the face. The combination of the powder and serum results in maximum efficiency, greater absorption and easy application. Simply place the mask, darker side towards the client’s face, on cleansed skin. The mask is then left for 15 to 20 minutes after which it is removed and any remaining serum massaged into the skin.

Fight Adult Acne with the help of Voya’s Algae-based products. The seaweed- based products work particularly well on the condition as seaweed is a natural anti- inflammatory and helps to reduce swelling. When combined with other anti- inflammatories such as Organic Beeswax, Primrose Oil, Ginger Root and Green Tea extract, the ingredients work together to heal affected areas.
Clients could opt for the brand’s Maskerade Face Mask, a gel-based mask that should be applied before going to bed and washed off in the morning. Light in texture and clear in colour, it is easy to sleep with and won’t make a mess.

The Desincrustation Mask preps the skin for extractions, making extractions easier to manage and minimising skin trauma. The inclusion of Porprhyridium Micro- alga, a red unicellular seaweed that’s high in essential fatty acids as well as vitamins B and C, is used in combination with Zinc as sebum regulating, moisturising and protection for problem skin. Salicylic Acid further improves the appearance and condition of the skin, while the antioxidant Tea blend soothes and calms. Skin is left noticeably healthier, smoother and clearer.

Used in conjunction with DMK’s in-salon treatments, the new DMK Acu-System range consists of five new products. All five products are 100% paraben, sulphate and benzoyl peroxide free, meaning that the new system won’t dry out skin yet still packs the same punch as the original DMK Acne range.
The five steps in the system are: Acu-Klenz, Acu-Klear - designed to dry up existing Acne and prevent future breakouts; Acu- Moist; Acu-Mist; and Acu-Therm - a deep pore cleansing tool which softens blind pimples and congested Acne which can often be hard to extract.
