New Hollywood filmglows with St Tropez
Emma Watson has come a long way since playing Harry Potter’s sweet and studious sidekick Hermione. In her new film The Bling Ring directed by Sofia Coppola, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, she plays a fame-obsessed bad girl causing havoc on the streets of L.A.
To transform Ms Watson from English Rose to the ultimate sun- kissed Californian girl, St Tropez Tanning and Skin Finishing Expert, Fiona Locke provided bespoke St Tropez skin finishing treatments to the principle cast.
Roz Music, Make-Up Department Head for the film said: "The Bling Ring takes place in the affluent suburbs of Hollywood, and we wanted the actors to look stylish and authentic. This meant we needed help with skin tones as the actors were mainly from cold climates. Each week we had our cast tanned with St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. The result was a mellow, real looking tan that lasted all week."
