Schenectady Curling Club On March 23, 2013, during a men’s league


playoff game at the Schenectady Curling Club, the Machold Rink scored an eight-ender. Te team consisted of Dan Machold (skip), Rick Munro (vice), Dave Longbrake (second), and Tom Lancaster (lead). For last rock, the team had a choice of drawing for four or at- tempting a double take-out. Aſter making the shot, a measure confirmed the eight-ender by the slimmest margin. facility. Nashua Curling Club Team Fasulo scored an eight-ender on March


2, 2013, during the Granite State Men’s Bonspiel at the Nashua Curling Club. Te team was com- prised of Jeff Fasulo (skip), Tony Tremblay (vice), Garrett Wein (second), and Frank Shaffer (lead). Te team decided on a controlled tap-back for the final rock. With several jam possibilities, there was very little room for error. Trough a true team effort, the shot was successful and the eight-ender was secured. Tis is believed to be the first eight-ender for a Nashua Team in their home rink since the 1940s. Itasca Curling Club Te Bauer Rink scored an eight-ender during


the Open League at the Itasca Curling Club on Feb. 5, 2013. Te team included Patrick Bauer (skip), Sandy Bromenschenkel (vice), and Jeff Bromenschenkel (lead). Rob Edie, a first year curler, was substituting for Emma Bromen- schenkel (second), who was unable to curl that night. Bauer successfully removed the second count in order to sit eight. Tis was the second eight-ender scored by Sandy Bromenschenkel. n
