Increase Production Aluminum and magnesium


automotive parts supplier Gibbs Die Casting Corp., Henderson, Ky., will invest $22.8 million and add 160 jobs over the next three years, according to the Courier Press. Parent company Koch Enterprises, Evansville, Ky., reportedly has new contracts with General Motors and Germany-based ZF for aluminum transmission parts. Te company will invest in machining operations and new production lines. Gibbs Die Casting is a global


provider of die castings with capa- bilities for die building and design, machining, assembly, engineering and prototyping.


Cosma to Add Die Casting Machines

sion of Magna in Battle Creek, Mich., plans to add two 1,500-ton diecasting cells from BuhlerPrince Inc., Holland, Mich. Production will begin by the end of 2013, according to the vendor. Carat 130L diecasting machines,


manufactured in Michigan, will be used to produce high strength pow- ertrain and structural components for the automotive industry. Cosma International, a wholly-


owned operating unit of Magna International, is a global automotive supplier and provides a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to its customers.
