Lesson 6: KS2 / Peace Plan Guide 1. A)

People in your life...

Think of 3 people in your life who you could make peace with. Write their initials, each in a grey circle below.

2. D) E) Who will you make peace with?

Choose one person on the ANGRY-OMETER to make peace with.

Think about how you could make peace with this per- son. What action could you take? Below are some ideas. Can you think of some others? Write them on the blank labels.

3.

F) G)

H)

How will you make peace with them?

Cut out the action labels.

Which action seems the most difficult? Stick it down on the ACTION-OMETER in a place that feels right.

Which action seems the easiest? Stick it down on the ACTION-OMETER in a place that feels right.

Make a card

I)

Each of the remaining ac- tions should sit between these two. Stick them on your ACTION-OMETER.

Send a text

J)

If you have any more ac- tions, feel free to write them on the scale.

K)

Talk to them

B) C)

Cut around the dotted line on each circle.

Think about each person and stick them some- where along the ANGRY- OMETER, using the co- loured zones to help you.

Now choose which action(s) you are going to take. High- light them however you would like.

4. L) M)

Finish your peace plan and take action

Time to write your sen- tence of intention. With all the parts stuck down, now look at each of the 6 stars and read their lines. Start to think about how you could join these words to make some sentences.

You might need to ‘connect’ different parts and words with connectives. Here are some that may help - can you think of any others?

...because...

N)

Read this example and write your own finished sentence at the bottom of your peace plan.

I will make peace with <...> who is sometimes annoying as he... . I will make peace by <...> which feels impossible, but I will commit to ...

...but...

THINK!

If you chose more than one action, should there be an order?

...who...

...which...

...so...

...although...

...however...
