Activity 2: Making Peace on Peace Day
Part two involves pupils taking responsibility to follow their plans. Having encouraged them to take action on Peace Day, propose that they take away their Anger to Action worksheets as a reminder, and that after Peace Day they will asked to give feedback on their experience.
Activity 3: Report back Find out how the pupils marked Peace Day:
In the week following Peace Day spend 10–15 minutes asking your class what they did on Peace Day. This could be extended into a creative activity by asking the pupils to make a display around the theme of Peace Day and the vari- ous different activities undertaken by the pupils. Lesson 5 ‘Art of Peace exhibition’ can provide more ideas around this.
