ICC Champions Trophy Cardiff has been appointed by ICC as a host venue for this month`s ICC Champions Trophy competition in England and Wales. Alongside the other tournament venues, Edgbaston and The Oval, Glamorgan's home Stadium in Cardiff will host group stage matches as well as a semi-final of the competition. The Champions Trophy is a 50 over tournament that features only the top 8 One-Day International cricket teams, and will showcase the ‘best of the best’ in this three week event.
