Summer is only around the corner, so it’s time to get that body toned, sculpted and beach ready!

Good news - it won’t take you as long as you may think to get in great shape. Four to six weeks of hard work, a lot of sacrifices and the ability to stay out of the biscuit tin will ensure you get that body you desire. You may think that isn’t enough time, however if you can set your mind to it, change your diet, exercise more and take advice off the right people, then you are certainly on the right track!

The Number 1 ‘mission’ for the Summer is to lose weight. There are many opinions of what is considered to be the most effective way to lose weight, at the end of the day it is quite simple: DIET and EXERCISE!

The two go hand in hand; some argue that the diet is the most important factor. There is an abundance of diet and nutrition advice on the internet, however, not all advice is aimed towards the general public and may be confusing and slightly daunting.

So here you go: 3 simple ways in which you can become a fitter, healthier, lighter you:

Firstly, a great place to start would be by eliminating high calorific food choices and replacing them with healthier options. So cut out ‘Fast Foods’ and ‘Takeaways’ . Yes, resorting to fast foods and takeaways is a convenient way of eating; we all do it from time to time. However the majority of which are extremely unhealthy and should not fit into any diet program. Do not give in to the convenience, most are very high in saturated fats and will hinder physical progression massively.

Secondly, eat more fruit and veg! Do not underestimate the importance of eating fruit and vegetables! It is a very simple, yet, a very effective way of introducing vitamins, minerals and antioxidants into your diet.
