Colourful Kids.. Summer sun means summer fun for the children. You don’t have to spend a fortune for some bright and beautiful garden and home accessories for the kids. Sisters Guild is one of my favourite retailers ever and stocks loads of Rice DK
products...check out their ducks watering cans in a range of colours. They even have duckling cans, perfect for little ‘uns!
For Bedroom opulence.. I am not normally one for fuss and grand design but in the case of retailer The French Bedroom Company I can make an exception. The shop’s mirrors are wonderfully romantic but at the same time retain an element of shabby chic. Living rooms, bedrooms and hallways all benefit from the reflective qualities of a feature mirror. I’d suggest if you’re looking to impress then why not have a look at their Antionette Fine French Oak Mirror. For a more laid back look, take a peak at retailer Loaf as well. So there you have it; a mini home makeover in one simple session. These are some of my insider favourite shops; just please don’t blame me if you end up spending in not just one but all of them!
The stools are also a bright fave of mine as well as the interactive weather map; an A2 size felt map of the world complete with 8 weather symbols! Now you can predict the weather across the globe we call planet Earth. With quirky images and characters it will appeal to both children and adults. There’s also a wonderful Welsh link here as well: the felt is made in the U.S then hand-printed with eco-friendly ink in Wales before being sewn at the Corby Tindersticks studio in Birmingham.
