four months after implementation, Mission Despatch has seen clear signs of improved productivity to the despatch area. Furthermore it has reported a sig- nificant reduction in manual input on UK overnight and international book- ings, as DA Systems has the ability to produce airway bills, customs invoices, and a fully automated pricing system. This has allowed Mission Despatch to further develop in this area.

he Industrial Plant & Engineering division of Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has selected Intergraph SmartPlant 3D and other SmartPlant Enterprise solutions to establish an integrated engineering environment for its power plant projects. HHI’s headquarters is in Korea, and its Industrial Plant & Engineering division has been a long time user of Intergraph solutions. To keep up with a highly com- petitive power industry, the division needed to evolve and update its engineering systems to leverage next generation technology. HHI chose SmartPlant 3D along with other SmartPlant Enterprise solutions, including SmartPlant Review, SmartPlant P&ID, SmartSketch and CAESAR II. SmartPlant Enterprise’s automation capabilities will enable HHI’s plant division to establish an intelligent engineering system and generate high quality deliverables for improved productivity and project management, in spite of an aging work force and new, less experienced resources.
