SCIENCE MUSEUM
Multi-award winning South Kensington venue, the Science Museum is one of the UK’s most popular visitor attractions, and also provides a regular backdrop for corporate events, receptions, conferences, product launches, and awards ceremonies. The venue offers 10 contrasting spaces, from the traditional book-lined Director’s Suite and the contemporary wired Dana Centre, to the 400-seat IMAX theatre and the 700 square- metre blank-canvas space Level 1. The Museum’s main galleries can hold between 10 – 750 guests for standing buffets, or up to 400 for a seated dinner dance. By combining the ground-floor galleries of the museum, up to 1,600 guests can be accommodated.

CENTER PARCS
With four locations in the UK, and a fifth site due to be completed in 2014, Center Parcs is recognised as being a unique choice for corporate events and team building. Each Center Parcs village boasts a purpose-built, dedicated conference and events space: The Venue, which has an average capacity of up to 600 people and features lake views. Alongside The Venue’s dedicated conference offering are a wide range of team building facilities, including over 100 activities, from water sports to aerial adventures and the Aqua Sana spa. Additionally, a range of accommodation, from one bedroom apartments to four bedroom executive lodges are on site.
The tranquil natural woodland settings are said to provide a motivating environment for delegates – a change from the city-centre conference.
LORD’S CRICKET GROUNDS
Lord’s Cricket Ground is a venue steeped in tradition as the spiritual home of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). Also a silver Eventia 2012 award winner, the Home of Cricket offers 11 unique spaces for conferences and events, from the iconic Long Room in the Grade II listed Pavilion, to the cutting-edge J.P. Morgan Media Centre, both overlooking the ‘hallowed turf’. In the global spotlight as an Olympic venue last year, Lord’s is set to be a popular meetings and events destination in the lead up to the 2013 Ashes Test Series and the 2nd Investec Ashes Test that will take place at the Ground in July. Two of the Ground’s private spaces are to be refurbished this year (the Lord’s Tavern Boxes and the Mound Stand Terrace) ahead of the Test in June.
