Crème de la Mer Celebrates Everton charity landmark


Silver jubilee fundraiser at Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar Crème de la Mer helped mark the 25th anniversary of the Everton in the Community charity. To raise money for the Club’s award- winning community scheme the skincare specialists hosted an exclusive event for influential ladies across Merseyside at the WOW Bar at Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar in Liverpool One. Attendees included Denise Barrett-Baxendale, CEO of Everton in the Community and Pat Labone, wife of Everton legend Brian Labone and Secretary of the Everton Former Players’ Foundation. Guests enjoyed champagne and canapés and complimentary Crème de la Mer


treatments, including hand and arm massages and skincare consultations with experts from the brand. A silent auction and raffle promised a luxury selection of Crème de la Mer products with proceeds contributed to the charity. Each guest received a personalised gift bag containing Crème de la Mer products to thank them for their support. To mark its silver jubilee, Everton in the Community, which provides community schemes in the city, has embarked on an ambitious fundraising campaign to raise £1million to help the people of Merseyside for the next 25 years – and beyond.

David M. Robinson Jewellers and special guests were swept off their feet by Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, at a celebratory Valentine’s Day concert. Te concert included Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev’s musical take on the star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet; Ravel’s dramatic Bolero, based on the musical form and Spanish dance of the same name; and Bruch’s exquisite Violin Concerto performed with the Orchestra by the young Seoul-born violinist Hyeyoon Park. Te concert was conducted by the young Venezuelan-born Spanish conductor José Luis Gomez, making his UK debut in Liverpool. David M. Robinson hosted a number of their clients, including many who had had engagement and wedding rings designed by the company. In


fact the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s flute and piccolo player, Fiona Paterson, who performed in the concert and is engaged to trumpet player Neil Fulton, had her own engagement ring designed by David M Robinson. David M. Robinson Jewellers has been a supporter of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra over many years, and have recently enhanced their support by sponsoring several concerts in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2012/13 concert season. Earlier in the season, the company were headline sponsors of a concert celebrating Te Film Music of John Williams conducted by Hollywood maestro Richard Kauffman. MD John Robinson, said: “David M.
