new wardrobe fi tted, everyone can benefi t from WM.” When asked what WM’s unique selling point is, she articulates: “I am the face of my business. WM is me. I have a small team of girls that I work very closely with, but it’s my face that will always greet the clients fi rst off . So my USP is me and my knowledge in fashion.” WM is fronted by a woman who is not

afraid of acknowledging her strengths, and knows how to achieve her goals. It is this honest approach, passion, drive and her ability

to work with people that she also attributes to her parents. “My parents are both extremely driven and passionate in whatever they do,” she says. “T ey have taught me wonderful values in life and to stay very humble and grounded on whichever path I take. One thing my mother always said to me was ‘Be nice to everyone. Manners don’t cost a thing. Who you pass on the way up, you may pass on the way down.’ T is has stood me on very good ground and has kept me very driven with all my goals and ambitions.” However this does not mean that

she hasn’t had her doubts: “Of course there are times when you think ‘will people like my idea? Will they see my vision?’. T at’s normal I think when one starts their own company. I just keep seeing my end result, and going back to my plan, this is what keeps me going 24/7.” Style comes naturally to Salih and she has

worked with people all over the world on their individual looks. “No two people are the same, but everyone wants to feel and look good,” she says. “Fashion isn’t just about the catwalk, it’s about feeling and looking good in what one is wearing.” Salih describes her personal style as: “Very classic. Chic with a modern twist.” As for staple pieces that every wardrobe shouldn’t be without she adds: “A black blazer, white shirt, a good pair of jeans, good shoes and a good bag.” And for this season she recommends: “A strong shouldered jacket, something studded, colour and something leather. Leather is massive this season, so a nice leather is a must.” When asked who she could style in a dream world Salih replies: “Audrey Hepburn at the Oscars.” Classic and iconic - sums up the ideas behind WM very nicely.
