welcome to HTAnews British plant suppliers in the limelight
The latest news and more in the garden sector…
The HTA National Plant show, on 25 and 26 June, will see the best of British plant suppliers under one roof at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry. The show, which is sponsored by Hortipak, unites suppliers and retailers at the best time of year for planning future plant ranges. It was a sell out in 2012 and from current bookings it looks as though 2013 is going to be just as popular. HTA Director of business development Tim Briercliffe comments,
‘There is no other opportunity to see so many new plants under one roof. The show is now embedded in the industry calendar as unmissable for anyone with a passion for selling plants.’ Special show features: l Seminar area – three inspirational seminars with guest speakers l British Plant Fair Marketplace – shelf after shelf of stock to buy
Time to ‘spring into summer’
We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new PR campaign, ‘Spring into summer in the garden’. Following last year’s poor weather, it aims to encourage and inspire consumers to get out in their gardens by showing them how they can transform their gardens and outdoor spaces in spring and through into the summer season with colour and scent, by welcoming wildlife and creating the perfect space for outdoor entertaining. ‘Spring into summer’ will also encompass Garden Re-leaf Day
(Friday 8 March) and National Gardening Week (15-18 April), the RHS Chelsea Flower Show centenary celebrations as well as occasion days such as Mother’s Day and Easter.
