Spring is quickly approaching, it’s time to take stock and get ready for a blossoming season ahead. Update your crockery, utensils and equipment to ensure you deliver a fresh experience to your thriving customer base this Spring.


Maintenance


Just like a car, your kitchen requires regular maintenance (we call this PPM, Planned Preventative Maintenance) and the level required depends on how busy your operation is and how well you look aſter it on a day to day basis.


A typical PPM would cost you in the region of £33 per annum, per piece of equipment which is the equivalent of 9p per day.


As a guide, a busy hotel or restaurant would have a full PPM visit every six months, planned to be completed before the busiest times of year i.e. summer and Christmas.


Our advice is to have at least one full PPM each year to keep your kitchen running efficiently and to comply with EHO inspections.


Vision only employs fully qualified engineers to carry out your servicing and we have a network of specialists throughout the UK, both for planned or reactive maintenance.


Of course we don’t just do PPMs. If your equipment breaks down, we can have an engineer with you within 24 hours.


At this stage we can offer you the options in terms of repair or replacement to ensure you are spending your money wisely.
