The Merchandising Skills Workshop is an interactive, one-day workshop that will give you an opportunity to understand the principles of merchandising and creating displays while looking at merchandising from a customer’s perspective. The workshop will also review how to maximise merchandising on a day-to-day basis, matched with delivering excellent customer service and boosting sales opportunities.

Getting to grips with social media


Find out how yourwebsite/Twitter/Facebook can increase footfall and reach out to existing and new customers. ‘Using social media every day’ is an essential one-day workshop that will teach you how to administer and manage your social media. It’s a real hands-on experience that will help you understand how different types of social media can work together to maximise the message you are wishing to communicate. The workshop will be practical and enable delegates to produce their own action plans to use in the workplace.

The programme will include visits to a range of cutting-edge garden centres and will take in the auction and supply side of the industry as well.
