“River Restoration Design and Construction”

In our previous article in the Noveber 2012 issue we introduced you to the EU Life+ funded partnership ‘RESTORE’ which provides a unique opportunity to engage with a range of audiences and explore different topics associated with river restoration. As such, an event was organised to discuss the thorny issue of best practice when it comes to the project management, design and construction process for delivery of river restoration measures. A mix of contractors, consultants and project managers from across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark and the Netherlands joined together in the New Forest to evaluate the current situation across Europe.
