Local Farm Caters to Health- Conscious Consumers

F

lorida Fields to Forks, a community- supported agriculture farm in Malabar is now serving the Orlando area. Focused on providing the most nutrition-fi lled, local and beyond organic grass-fed meats, poultry, produce and raw milk products, the farm currently has over 280 members. Started to provide organic foods for its family and close friends, the farm quickly expanded to meet the demands of others in the community who were also concerned about the lack of nutrition and the chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, etc. being used in commercial/conventional foods. “We understand that the foods we eat have a direct effect on our health, so personally knowing our Florida ranch partners and their farming practices means everything,” says Brock Hall. Florida Fields to Forks offers USDA inspected, chef-quality

100% Angus grass-fed and grass-fi nished beef, pasture-raised Katahdin lamb, Berkshire pork and Cornish Cross chickens, beyond organic produce, raw milk and raw milk cheeses from grass-fed Jersey cows, true free-range eggs, local honey and more. Members pay a one-time $35 fee, and orders are placed online at www.fl oridafi eldstoforks.com. The farm is located at 1200 Corey Road in Malabar. Local members pick up their orders weekly at the farm, and out-of- town members pick up their orders at specifi c drop-off locations once a month. For more information, call 321-431-7259.
