Sandra Brooks (BA ’85) is the founder of BROOKSLACAYO Advertising, Branding, and Public Relations. They specialize in intelligent strategy; on-target design; and clear, concise, and compelling messaging.


Valerie Haddon O’Dea (BS ’85) has been a practicing physical therapist for 26 years. She is married to Mike O’Dea, whom she met at Loyola. The couple has four children and two dogs.


Katherine M. Warpeha (BS ’85) was appointed as a tenure-track professor at the University of Illinois as of 2011.


Cary Morgen (BBA ‘86, MSIR ‘94) retired from the Chicago Transit Authority in 2011 after serving as of General Manager, Labor Relations. He has since established a labor arbitration and mediation practice.


Bradley Becker (MD ’87) is professor of pediatrics, Division of Allergy and Immunology, in the School of Medicine at Saint Louis University.


Emily Gould Chafa (JD ’87) became an administrative law judge in 2010. She hears appeals from state agency decisions. She also serves on the Board of Governors for the Iowa State Bar Association and the Polk County Bar Association.


Dana M. Pearl (MBA ‘87) is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her EEO consulting business, the HUMAN Organization, Inc. In August, she co-presented a seminar with former State Rep. Woods Bowman on the ethics and legal ramifications of

Ava Borrasso (JD ’90), is a share- holder at Astigarraga Davis in Miami.


Leonardo Guerrero (BBA ’90) co- founded the Latino Alumni Board in 2000. He has served as president (2005–2007; 2012) and vice president (2007–2008; 2010). The board hosts a spring silent auction to fund scholarships for students and holds a summer golf outing.


Renne N. Sinopoli (BS ’90, MD ‘94) has two children, a girl, born in January 2003, and a boy, born in July of 2004. She has had a family practice in obstetrics in Milwaukee since 1997 and is the medical director at Eastcastle Place, a multi-faceted long term care center.


Andrew C. Smith (BA ’90) has been appointed Pastor of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He has also published a memoir, From the Fun to the Pulpit.


Christopher Fee (MA ’91) took his family to live in Copenhagen for the spring of 2012, where taught courses on Beowulf in Denmark and the Vikings in Britain; he also co-led a five-day study tour to Saga Sites.

Jonathan Barrish (JD ’92) is a partner with the law firm of Litchfield Cavo, LLP, with a practice concentrating in workers’ compensation, general liability, and toxic tort litigation.

Heidi Carty (BS ’92, MA ’94, PhD ’98) welcomed a son, Landon, on June 22, 2010. He has a big sister (age 7) and a big brother (age 4).


Janet Harding (MUND ‘92) led an international training organization in Europe and works as a training manager/supply chain training lead for General Electric. She married in September.


Ann M. Liston (BA ’92) is a member of the board of directors for Girls in the Game, a Chicago nonprofit organization that provides sports, health, and leadership training to girls in Chicago.

Christopher G. Hurn (BS/BA ‘94) released his first book in October. The Entrepreneur’s Secret to Creating Wealth: How the Smartest Business Owners Build Their Fortunes is already an Amazon bestseller.


Shawn Aranha (BA/BS ‘95, JFRC ‘95) ran in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training for the cause of treating, researching, and curing blood cancers and improving the quality of life for patients.


Anne D. Cartwright (JD ‘95) joined Husch Blackwell as senior counsel in the firm’s Kansas City office after serving as a judicial clerk and litigator in Chicago and Kansas City.


Jumoke Duduyemi (BS ’95) works at a church as an associate pastor.


Kenneth Epp (PhD ’95) has worked in mission leadership (1991-2000) and pastoral ministry (2000-2005). He is now at seminary (2005-present) and is a small business owner (2006-present).


Stephanie Falk (PhD ’95), a practicing licensed psychologist, closed her private practice after 14 years to join Lebanon Valley College as their director of counseling services in September 2010.


Diane Heliker (PhD ’95), a consultant for China Senior Care, Inc., is the director of education for all staff in PR China who work at the company’s long-term care facility or attend its Geriatric Institute.


Michele L. Ramsey (BA ‘96) has been named principal of Ridge Family Center for Learning in Community Consolidated School District 59 for the 2012-2013 school year.
