Teir training regimens might be a bit different, but Tomas says he knows there
are times
his sisters are training harder than he and his teammates, and he knows not many teenage girls are getting up that early.
He’s honored that he has inspired his younger siblings by what he has accomplished. Te difference with
his family, he says, has been the work ethic. In his career, he’s seen oth- er people get so close to their dream and not take it to the next level. He’s glad he was raised with the sense to stick with it. “It was always expect- ed in our household that you were going to do something to the best of your abilities and you weren’t going to quit until you’d done that,” Tomas says.
