DEAL OVERVIEW:
Acquisition of the PUDiZ and WMPD companies was connected with Skanska’s strategy execution which assumed entering geographic markets in which the company was never permanently present. The aim of the transaction was to strengthen Skanska’s position on the construction industry market in north-eastern Poland. Before Skanska functioned in the area of warmińsko mazurskie district through the branches seated in Warsaw and Gdansk.
Musiol & Partners prepared due diligence of PUDiZ and WMPD, coordinated the legal preparatory stages of the merger, participated in negotiations, preparation of share sale agreements and filing of the merger notification to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). Marek Musiol was heading Musiol & Partners legal team and coordinating its activities.
