PROJECT FOCUS RELIGIOUS

Lifeway Baptist Church, Fresno, Calif. The 10,681-square-foot building cost $1.9 million and uses a pre-engineered metal building system from Borga Steel Inc., which was the most economical op- tion for the building design. In addition, Vermeltfoort Architects Inc. designed a column-free interior space for worship area and maximum fl exibility. Completed in November 2010, the roof features

18-inch-wide, 24-gauge Borga Vertical Lock stand- ing seam roof panels in Kynar Terra Cotta. The build- ing also features 16-inch-wide, 26-gauge Borga Tio- ga standing seam soffi t panels in Kynar Sierra Tan. The siding is steel studs and stucco. The building’s advanced design features a wedge-shaped central structure with a sloping roof in multiple directions and two attached wings. The multiple roof levels create an attractive structure with high functionality, low maintenance and a long life expectancy.
