With less than eight weeks until Christmas, I do hope your planned seasonal promotions are in-hand and your appointment list is starting to look well booked as clients prepare for the coming spell of parties and celebrations.

The thought of long working days and extended opening hours whilst trying to accommodate all of your regulars as well as new clients can be incredibly stressful, however at the same time, seeing the tills ringing and appointment columns fully booked up is likely to be just what the doctor ordered from a business perspective.
So how can you survive and enjoy the hectic weeks approaching? After all, it’s your Christmas too!
The key is to be prepared. Suppliers will be busy too, so get all of your stock delivered early rather than chancing the Christmas post or bad weather. Make sure your store cupboard is fully stocked – this isn’t the time to run out of essentials like Permanent Polishes (see page 69) or seasonal cosmetics (see page 43!).

Yes the run up to Christmas can be stressful, but embrace the season and make the most of what this opportunity offers to you, your team and your beauty business.
