Nails -BrandAwareness

When Jessica started doing nails, there were no professional “nail lines in the market.”

- Oonagh Clarke, French Cosmetics.

Today, the foundation of Jessica’s Original Product range is the same and includes the original Cuticle Crème, Nourish Therapeautic Cuticle Crème, Phenomen Oil, Primer, Rejuvenation, Restoration, Reward, Glaze, Top Priority, Brilliance, Hand and Body Crème and Hand and Body Emulsion. The treatment line has expanded to include specific corrective treatments such as Fusion for peeling nails, Critical Care for nails that are weak and just won’t grow and Life Jacket for nails that break easily. Phenomen Oil is also still the best selling product of the JESSICA brand today.

The JESSICA range also includes a large selection of coloured lacquers, from Pink Diamonds to Midnight Merlot, as well as offering training courses too.

One of a kind

In an industry where nail products are in abundance, despite being one of the first brands out there, how has the JESSICA brand managed to remain so successful? “We don’t feel that there are similar brands in the marketplace and that’s what sets JESSICA apart,” comments Oonagh. “She was the pioneer in natural nail care and was in the forefront in the new soak-off gel revolution with the only range that was designed to protect the natural nail.

and owned a salon, she has direct understanding of the needs of the professional and the salon and Spa owner and everything she delivers is of value to enhance their business."

When asked about the success of the brand and whether Jessica ever expected the brand to be as well known as it is today, she replied: “I have been very blessed and worked very hard to achieve success. I did not intend to choose this profession when I was a young girl, but when I arrived in America I had to help support my family and nails was the easiest course to take when you don’t speak much English. It only took a few weeks to realise I had a talent and if my destiny was going to be in nails, I was going to be the very best.”

As well as this, customer service is important to the brand too. “Customer

care is the foundation of every business. It is the key to our success and that of our partners all over the world,” says Oonagh.

The future of Jessica

There’s very exciting times ahead for Jessica and the brand, with some evolutions taking place in the not so distant future. “The brand is growing and evolving. We launch our new Artfully Polished Living Campaign this year and we will be introducing a revolutionary new 2-step pedicure polish system that is the next evolution in soak-off gels. It will change the way pedicures will be offered. It is very exciting!”
