Renovations, Expansions, & New Builds
Cleveland The city that rocks — and keeps on rollin’
Cleveland — the birthplace of rock ’n’ roll — is experiencing a whole new kind of rebirth. With more than $2 billion in new develop- ments, Cleveland is ushering in a new era of top-of-the-line hotels, attractions, and unique meeting spaces, all in the heart of its historic downtown. The biggest news out of C-Town is the
debut of the Cleveland Convention Center & Medical Mart, a 1.1-million-square-foot campus with 93,000 square feet of meeting space opening in the summer of 2013. At the same time, more than 912 rooms will join the city’s current inventory of 4,000 downtown hotel rooms, including the Westin Cleveland
Convention Center, Courtyard Cleveland Uni- versity Circle, Aloft Cleveland Downtown, and Kimpton Hotel Downtown Cleveland. New attractions that can double as event venues are plentiful, too — from the Greater Cleve- land Aquarium to the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland to new exhibits at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
