For many years, English silversmiths Braybrook & Britten have created limited edition hallmarked sterling silver christmas tree decorations, some incorporating real gems.

even the Queen. But if you are going to give someone a decoration you want to be special, then they don’t come much more special than these.

‘I wanted something that wasn’t just pretty, I wanted to create a family heirloom’, says designer silversmith Monica Langford. T e collection, which is hallmarked in London, has developed a regular and loyal following by collectors and fans.


Not just a Christmas idea, the sterling silver decorations have become a popular Christening and wedding gift. ‘As so many people want names engraved on the silver, we’ve simply included it in the price of some designs’.


More recently the workshop team has started to resurrect more traditional Christmas items in hallmarked sterling silver, such as cake decorations and pudding charms (which are also used as rather posh cracker gifts).
