The woman from Bethany broke the jar of fragrance to give Jesus a priceless gift, showing her love, no matter the cost. Jesus recognized the beauty in her gift. The Greek word for beautiful is Ka•los. (Mark 14:6–9)
In the spirit of that beautiful gesture, the ELCA Foundation invites you to join Kalos. This legacy recognition society celebrates friends of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America who have designated a gift in their will or trust, or who are benefactors of an endowment that supports the church’s work. Gifts to donor-advised funds and life income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, are also eligible.
