Join the team and help us Nail It for 3 great charities Monday, 8th to Saturday, 13th of October
For the fi rst time, beauty and charity go hand in hand.
The Nail It campaign aims to paint the nails of the nation. By Nailing It, a beauty treatment will be a symbol of charitable giving. For an affordable donation, clients old and new, male and female, the young and senior will be encouraged to paint their nails for 3 great charities in Nail it week. Some people will paint their nails at home, but many will be encouraged to go to their local salon or nail bar to get their nails painted. Manicures are not required. We just need to transform those dull nails into a striking fashion statement for that one week. This will be a challenge for men, a natural indulgence for girls, but for some of our senior ladies, it can be an exciting voyage of re-discovery, all for 3 great charities.
Who are the Nail It charities?
Nail It is an initiative of 3 great Irish charities, DEBRA Ireland, The Jack and Jill Foundation and Raynaud’s & Scleroderma Ireland. All are small charities supporting children and adults with life limiting conditions.
Competitions with fabulous prizes
To get ready for Nail It, we will be running a series of competitions to allow participants to show us their inner design diva. Our first competition wants a nail design that will rival Lady Gaga and Katy Perry’s whacky creations. As well as having the chance to see their ‘trademark’ nail design on one of our celebrities, our lucky winner and three of their friends will enjoy a luxury afternoon at MINK Hand & Foot Spa, getting ‘Minked’ with Deluxe Manicures, Pedicures, chocolate dipped strawberries and their very own MINK fl ip flops.

Nail It ambassadors
Food critic, Paolo Tullio, Celebrity Salon and Dublin Housewives star Virginia Macari and TV3’s Ireland AM presenter Mark Cagney are already on board and fully supporting the campaign:
Mark Cagney
“It’s great to be a part of such an uplifting and creative campaign and for three great causes.”
Paolo Tullio “Nail It is a fantastic fundraising initiative, in that it doesn’t exclude anyone. Male or female, we should all pay a bit more attention to our Nails, especially important when you’re dealing with food.”
Virginia Macari
“I’m delighted to be an ambassador for the Nail It campaign. It’s a great way to add some colour to everyone’s day while supporting three very worthwhile causes.”
