markets, golfers in the UK were the most likely to purchase a full waterproof suit. The most recently purchased waterproof outerwear in the UK, France and Sweden was
either a waterproof top or a windshield. In contrast 37.8% of German golfers surveyed said their most recent purchase was a non-waterproof lightweight jacket/ windshield. Across the primary European markets SMS INC. research shows that the average price
for a full waterproof suit is €210 (around £170) – though an ever-increasing appreciation of the technical aspects in the top-of-the range products means golfers are prepared to pay more if they feel the quality is there.
