Canobie Lake Park, New Hampshire, is about to introduce a new thrill ride called Equinox. The ride, a KMG Tango, has three arms eminating from the centre, each with a pair of four in-line “open” seats in a back-to-back configuration. A huge boom lifts 24 passengers into the sky as they revolve around the centre. And then the thrills increase as the boom holding the arms rotates and each arm in turn begins to flip independently. “The Equinox combines three different types of revolutions while soaring high through the air,” highlights Canobie Lake’s Chris Nicoli. “It is certainly intense and perfectly complements our other high energy attractions including our newest roller coaster, Untamed.” The attraction arrives in the USA after 10 years on the UK fairground circuit.
