ess than seven hours direct from the UK and two hours from east coast
USA, Bermuda is closer than many holiday-makers realise as British Airways fl ies out to the island on a daily basis direct from London. With temperatures rarely straying from the 18-29C (65–85F) bracket, the weather is temperate year-round in Bermuda, meaning visitors can enjoy the island’s pink beaches and warm waters at any time of the year. There is no car hire in Bermuda, so Bermudian roads are quiet and
free from pollution. Visitors are safe to explore the island by foot, scooters, or using public buses, Bermuda taxis and ferries.
Sports fans will enjoy the many golf courses and water sports, whilst the Town of St. George and City of Hamilton offer a selection of museums and galleries to visit. For the more active traveller, the destination offers a host of activities such as scuba diving,

snorkelling and horse riding, whilst respite can be found in one of the island’s many spa resorts.
The island boasts a wide range of dining options to suit every taste and wallet. Visitors should be sure to try the fi sh chowder, Bermuda’s tasty national dish. The well-known Bermudian rum cakes are another speciality, along with the island’s trademark Dark ‘N’ Stormy drink made with Gosling’s rum.
