75 years of success Skin care brand Matis Paris recently held a BBQ lunch on the Roof Terrace of Odessa in Dublin to celebrate their 75th anniversary.
Founded in 1936 in Paris, Matis has a professional distribution network spanning New York to Hong Kong, to Tokyo and Moscow.

Salon owner and skin expert Mariga Sheedy is seeking salon owners’ opinions on a code of standards for beauty professionals across Europe.

Mariga is part of a new committee - CEN TC 409 – which aims to develop a European standard for beauty services across 31 countries. Mariga told IB: “I anticipate that setting up this code of standards will help to acknowledge the hard- working, professional and highly educated members of our industry, give new and existing therapists guidelines to achieving excellence and give the consumer a point of reference and peace of mind when choosing their beauty professional.”
