What’s Cookin’ Vanilla Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS 6 eggs


Dash of salt 3 c. sugar


1-2 tsp vanilla


1 pt. whipping cream Whole milk


DIRECTIONS Separate eggs and beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar, a little at a time. Mix well. Add egg yolks with a pinch of salt to the sugar mixture. Beat well. Add whipping cream and vanilla. Mix well. Add enough whole milk to fill a 1 gallon ice cream container (can add fruit if desired). Freeze in the ice cream freezer.

INGREDIENTS 4 graham crackers 16 miniature marshmallows 2 plain chocolate candy bars A 9 x 13 or similar sized glass baking dish A clear glass lid to cover the baking dish


DIRECTIONS Place graham crackers side by side in the bottom of the glass baking dish. Place a chocolate bar on two of the graham crackers, and 8 mini- marshmallows on each of the other 2 graham crackers. Cover the pan with the clear glass lid, and place it outside where it will be in direct sunlight. Wait for the marshmallows and chocolate to melt. Put one chocolate and one marshmallow cracker together and enjoy! Makes 2 s’mores.
