group activities for kids (of all ages), the Camp Racer. This hand-launch glider has been designed with the beginner in mind, making it very well-suited as a summer camp activity, or group activities for family gatherings, scouts, educational or other recreational classes. With some adult supervision, the airplanes can be easily finished and flown in less than an hour, and will give hours of fun flying afterwards. Styled as a 1930’s open-cockpit race plane, each model kit contains 19 accurately
laser-cut parts of quality balsa and aircraft plywood, plus easy-to-follow step-by-step photo instructions. No lead or metal ballast is used as most Camp Racers can be balanced by sanding some material away from the nose block. The only items not included are sandpaper, glue and, if desired, markers or paint to decorate.
SPECIFICATIONS: Wing Span: 111⁄2 inches Weight: 7–10 grams Area: 24 square inches Loading: 11⁄2–2 ounces/square foot
Retro RC is offering the Camp Racer as an individual kit for $7.99 or bulk packed in any quantity of ten or more kits for $6.39 per airplane, plus S&H.
