MALVERN MK II|CW
above; The charcoal dial is one of four colour options for the new Malverns, above right; The new one -piece metal dial is housed in a wholly redesigned 39mm case,
with the galvanic finish) is re-introduced due to popular demand and a stunning new matt-finish optic white replaces the former ivory finish. Completing the colour choice are the gold variants with white dials and gold indexes. These are seen in the C5 Automatic, C5 Quartz, C3 Chronograph and last but not least the C50 COSC. And, in a new development for Christopher Ward, gold indexes are also placed on a white dial that is paired with a stainless steel case in both the C5 Automatic and the C3
Chronograph. These are visually stunning examples of luxury watch making. The handsome proportions and details are standard across the range. All the watches carry the new Christopher Ward logo, anti-reflective sapphire crystals, Italian leather strap or a bracelet and, as described above, a Swiss movement. The new Malvern Collection, as with all CW watches, is, of course, made in Switzerland. It truly exemplifies the company’s ideals and attitude: Swiss movement, English Heart… “Our Malverns are CW classics and, like all classic designs, it is
important that any changes are evolutionary rather than too radical,” says Mike France, co-founder of the company. “If anything, we wanted to make both the C5 and C3 even more timeless and by changing from a layered effect two-piece dial to a one-piece and with the introductoon of the galvanic and optic white finishes, we feel we have achieved this. Together with very subtle changes to the indices and the case, we hope we have given the watch a freshness and sense of renewal while still retaining the quintessential Malvern look.”
The new Malvern Collection will be available from September. Prices start at £165. Orderline 0844 875 1515 41
