In the diamond bezel versions these precious gems also decorate the case, appearing in a glittering column on each side of the dial. In all, 36 full-cut, VVS1, Top Wesselton diamonds – a particularly fine grade of the jewels, higher, incidentally, than those used by Omega – are used in what is CW’s most luxurious watch yet. An ornate blue cabouchon stone decorates the crown. Available initially in either polished stainless steel or a lustrous 18ct gold-plate finish, the hand polished cases are exquisitely complemented by either ethically sourced luxurious alligator straps or beautifully engineered bracelets that have been designed specifically to be comfortable on a smaller wrist. The obsessive attention to fine details continues with the sapphire
crystal dial cover as well as an exhibition viewing window on the reverse of the case giving a clear view of the movement, including the bespoke guilloche work on the rotor arm.
