South East Area 17 September Olympics Review – London Underground operations director Nigel Holness will be speaking about how travel during the Olympics was managed. Refreshments will be available from 17:30 and also after the event. There will also


be the opportunity to go for dinner with other members afterwards. Young Operators 24 October Young Operators Freight Event. Time: 17:30 for 18:00. Lord Berkeley will host the IRO Young Operators at the House of Lords for a presentation and open-floor debate on rail freight and the work of parliament in supporting freight operators. For security purposes, all attendees must book by 10 October at the latest and arrive at the public entrance for security screening by 17:30. Booking for this event will open on 8 May.
