Proven in service around the world, EP2002 is the unique, Queen‘s Award for Innovation winning, per bogie Distributed Brake Control (DBC) system from Knorr-Bremse. Using mechatronic technology EP2002 “thinks” about the braking effort needed across the entire train for optimum braking performance. EP2002 is smaller and lighter than conventional brake control and requires a smaller installation space. Preventive maintenance is made easier through the special “Brakes Consultant” software. |
