elebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Dana Point Turkey Trot by participating in “one of America’s best Thanksgiving Day runs,” ac- cording to Fitness Magazine. Known for its scenic routes, beautiful


Southern California weather and family-friendly activities, the Dana Point Turkey Trot has become an Orange County tradition, attracting more than 16,000 participants, including friends and family, to its 5K, 10K, Mission Hospital’s Kids’ Gobble Wobble and two-day health and fi tness expo and fi nish line festival. Produced by the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Run Racing, the Dana Point Turkey Trot is the nation’s sixth largest turkey trot in the country. This year’s Turkey Trot will be a whale of a time. For 35 years, the Dana


Point Turkey Trot has been an Orange County tradition for thousands. Whether working toward your fi tness goals, encouraging your kids to get active, visiting with friends old and new or exploring the new health and wellness brands at the expo, we’ll have activities for the whole family. Expect some surprises this year along the course, including special photo opportunities, presented by our sponsors. We are proud to announce our charitable benefactor will be the Dana


Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group. We have already provided them with $25,000 in donations and look forward to adding to our overall contribution during the 35th Dana Point Turkey Trot. The Mission of the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group is to provide support and outreach to the 5th MAR Marines and sailors and their families here at home while at Camp Pendleton and when deployed.
