City LASIK and vision correction sur- gery specialist with NYC LASIK offi c- es in the Upper Eastside of New York City. He is an attending surgeon at Lenox Hill- Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and New York Eye and Ear Infi rmary. He is also a clinical professor of ophthalmology at NYU school of Medicine. Dr. Pamel and his team will be pro- viding a limited number of athletes


with free LASIK surgery each year through 2014. The fi rst group of US Speedskating athletes will be travel- ing to New York later this summer for their LASIK procedure. This sponsorship—a fi rst for US Speedskating—was made possible through the generous introduction by Birdie Farrell, a former short track athlete. “Waking up each morning and


clearly seeing the numbers on my clock is a constant reminder of Dr. Gregory Pamel’s impeccable LASIK surgery. I only wish that I had gotten
