Butch & Althea Pearson Althea, Butch and their children - Nick
and Erica - have been involved in speed- skating for many years. They have been active in the West Allis Speedskating Club and served as Officers and Board members of the Club, volunteering many hours organizing and running speeds- kating meets. Every weekend of the rac- ing season you’ll find Butch as the Lap Counter and Manual Timer, and Althea as Electronic Timer and Manual Timer for meets in Wisconsin, and in the past, out of state meets. Both have worked as volunteers at the Winter World Special Olympic Games in Anchorage, Alaska and Boise.
