The historic mixture of Portugal and China is not only expressed in the unique architecture but also in the delicious cuisine. An unassuming doorway can lead to a magnificent mansion. Make sure your clients don’t miss the Mandarin’s House. “Macau’s science museum is outstanding, very interactive and the planetarium is rightly classed as the best in the word by international astronomy organisations. Then there are the pandas – a pair of gorgeous little three-year-olds – then on to the sleepy fishing village of Coloane for temples, tea and cakes. “Macau has that ‘somewhere


different’ factor that so many of our clients crave. It’s often visited as a day excursion from Hong Kong – but it deserves so much more time and should be considered as a destination in its own right. It would also be the perfect place to stay after a hectic tour of China or as a stopover on the way Down Under. I spent four nights in Macau and definitely left wanting more.”
