IGT enters Italian Comma 6b market

International Game Technology (IGT) and Lottomatica provides IGT entry into the dynamic Comma 6b market in Italy. Through this agreement, IGT game content and cabinets will be available to theLottomatica Groupfor an exclusive period. Lottomaticawill deliver IGT game content to a high percentage of the installed base of VLT's inLottomatica's network, which, with nearly 9,000 units, is currently the largest active VLT network inItaly. "IGT is excited about stepping into this large and
growing market," saidPatti Hart, IGT chief executive officer (pictured). "Partnering with Lottomatica will allow us to engage the Italian VLT players with our leading game content. As a global leader in gaming solutions, we are proud to partner with the leading operator of gaming entertainment inItalyand one of the largest gaming companies in the world." This agreement will enable IGT game content to
reach 45 percent of currently installed Italian VLTs as IGT games also can be offered to any other concessionaire who operates Spielo systems. Additionally, as part of the contract with Lottomatica, IGT will be providing use of ten IGT games that will be deployed on Spielo cabinets,

throughout the Italian VLT market. IGT will provide Lottomatica with game content for a period of exclusivity onto their existing VLT network, as well as cabinets which will host existing Lottomatica systems. According toMarco Sala,Lottomatica Groupchief

This partnership with Lottomatica launches IGT
into the Comma 6b gaming market where game play and prizes are much higher and more similar to a traditional Class III slot machine, and the experience is more like casino style gaming. Based in Rome, Lottomatica is one of the largest
