Recruitment

Recruit, Consult, Train

“Today’s education establishments have an ever widening variety of non-educational professional roles and requirements,” says Education Support Professionals (ESP) MD William Townsend. “Our company seeks to be the premier partner to link education professionals with the schools, academies and colleges that require additional resource.”

Now just starting its third year of trading, the company has three distinct education business disciplines:

Recruit - be it temporary or permanent staff across all areas of finance, MIS/data, office and ICT.

Consult - providing access to specialist consultancy staff, delivering a variety of projects in the areas of finance, MIS and ICT.

Train - providing trainers with knowledge of sims.net, cmis and a variety of VLE software packages UK-wide.

“Having worked in this sector for over 10 years we have been able to develop a network of contacts which is unique,” continues William. “This means I can call upon specialists from timetablers to IT project managers, from finance consultants to data managers at very short notice. By supplying these individuals direct means the school can avoid costly charges from software suppliers or consultancy firms.”

ESP has come a long way. Within two years the company has made a name for itself. Supporting organisations including Edugeek.net, Bett, New Schools Network, NASBM and the IAA has provided access to contacts ordinary recruitment agencies simply do not have. This gives clients a much broader shortlist of candidates. Additionally the company CRB and pre-screen its temporary workers, giving a level of safeguarding protection that complies with DFE guidelines

Recently ESP has joined the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) which helps forge closer links with educational suppliers.

“Working with most of the industry’s key MIS, VLE and educational services companies, we are providing the very best in educational sales, marketing, business development and operational staff, often on an exclusive or retained basis, such is the value of our service,” explains commercial director Ben Rose who manages the corporate side of the business. “Being part of BESA only strengthens our unique offering.”
