Equipped with a recessed one touch Emergency Assistance Button on the reverse of the phone, the Panasonic KX-TU311 provides schools and their communities with the knowledge and reassurance that in the event of any emergency, help can be rapidly requested and others alerted whether inside or outside the classroom setting. Users can press one button to initiate calls and SMS text messages to up to five pre-programmed telephone numbers. Calls are automatically repeated until one is answered at which point the phone switches to speakerphone.
With large, tactile and easy to use buttons the Panasonic is also tough and resilient yet compact and lightweight. Panasonic KX-TU311 is perfect for storing in a pocket or bag for mobile use. It is housed in a durable, rubber, anti- slip material, so it can deal with day to day challenges of busy school environments. In addition, the shock-resistant metal frame helps protect the mobile phone from general wear-and-tear and possible damage from knocks and falls.
With a sliding lock switch on the side of the phone and a handy LED flashlight, the KX-TU311 also features a large colour screen with large fonts for easy viewing, as well as simple and intuitive menu operation. The phone is supplied with a charger cradle, has hearing aid compatibility, audible dialling and loud voice amplification and can be supplied in colours including white making it easily identifiable from other mobiles, thus deterring theft.
To add to the flexibility for education, individual handsets can be purchased and at surprisingly good value prices, schools can also use network providers’ pay-as-you-go, free of charge, SIM cards to help manage call costs and avoid contracts.
